Standards and Certifications
The security standards we adhere to
DIN 66399 Standard
The DIN 66399 standard defines the requirements for the secure destruction of data storage media.
Type H: Magnetic Hard Drives
Classification according to DIN 66399 standard
| Level | Description | Security |
|---|---|---|
| H-1 | Mechanically/electronically inoperable |
|
| H-2 | Damaged |
|
| H-3 | Deformed |
|
| H-4 | Split and deformed several times. Max. particle size: 2000 mm² |
|
| H-5 | Split and deformed several times. Max. particle size: 320 mm² |
|
| H-6 | Split and deformed several times. Max. particle size: 10 mm² |
|
| H-7 | Split and deformed several times. Max. particle size: 5 mm² |
|
The security level increases from H-1 (basic) to H-7 (very high). Higher levels require smaller particle sizes and more thorough destruction, making data recovery increasingly difficult or impossible.

Erasure Certification
For each erasure or destruction operation, we provide an official certificate detailing the entire process and guaranteeing compliance with DIN 66399 standards.
This document certifies that the data stored on these media has been rendered inaccessible by the mentioned methods, thereby ensuring the confidentiality of the information and providing you with proof of compliance with regulatory requirements.
